Lil Fresh Frenchies: French Bulldog Breeder in New Jersey

State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located.

My name is LiL Fresh. My kennel is LiL Fresh Frenchies, and I am located in Bloomfield, NJ.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?

I breed french bulldogs. What inspired me to get involved with this bully breed was how super playful and funny they are.

What is your favorite bloodline?

At the moment I like omega off of the maui line. That line has def touched my yard but as for my favorite bloodline I am working on it, coming soon.

In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?

A responsible breeder is someone who is in it to better the dog. Loving the dog, treating them like family, and knowing when it’s the right time to breed a female. Health always comes first.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?

I have my dogs on a combination of a raw and kibble diet.

Are there any specific brands of dog food that you recommend?

The food that is used in my house is Victor salmon and sweet potato, mixed with raw veggies and fruits.

How many times a day do you feed your dogs?

Our dogs get fed twice a day.

How do you keep your dogs in shape throughout the year?

I run with my dogs outside. They like to run around me whenever I try to play anything, almost like they are playing tag with me. I also work with them walking and stacking to show standards.

Walk us through the process of purchasing a pup from Lil Fresh Frenchies from start to finish.

  • First, I start by posting pictures and videos of the puppies.
  • Whenever interest in shown in one of the available puppies, we try to have a conversation around puppies and any kind of experience with the breed.
  • If all goes well he will go into our agreement/ contract
  • Once the puppy is ready and payment is made the puppy can then transition into its new home with the owner.

Do you currently show any of your dogs?

Yes at the shows you will see me with Yeti, my all white lilac platinum frenchie and Bam Bam, my chocolate merle frenchie.

What advice does Lil Fresh Frenchies have for any upcoming breeders?

I myself am still new, but with the support of my parents and other breeders around me that have been helping me, and my parents' knowledge we have learned a lot. We are still learning, but the biggest piece of advice I can give is you have to be willing to learn. Take notes and don’t be afraid to ask, you must be an open book.

What do you think is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?

I think the most difficult thing has to be the trend/hype at the moment. Everyone is after the next trend being all over the place and trying to have it all.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?

Take it one step at a time trying to perfect your craft into top quality dogs. Turn your vision into your results.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?

I look up to my parents. I get to see first hand at home, they have shown me how to take my wins with my losses.

Tell us about one of Lil Fresh Frenchies main goals for 2023.

One of my main goals is to compete at a show in every state.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.

In ten years from now I would like to see everyone still competing and bettering their program.

What separates Lil Fresh Frenchies from the competition?

What separates me from the competition is that I’m not afraid to step up to the table. I won’t back down big or small “I want all the smoke.”

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?

I enjoy playing football, basketball, and meeting celebrities.
