Forgiati American Bullies: Classic, Standard and XL American Bully Breeder in AZ

Angie, the founder of Forgiati American Bullies, is a passionate and responsible breeder based in Surprise, Arizona. She and her partner specialize in breeding Classic/Standard and XL American Bullies, a breed they both have loved since childhood.

What sets Forgiati apart from other breeders is their unwavering commitment to producing healthy, genetically tested, and well-socialized puppies. All of their breeding dogs are tested for genetic health conditions through Embark Genetic Health and have OFA testing. The puppies are socialized from an early age through various methods, including early neurological stimulation and Puppy Culture protocols.

At Forgiati, the dogs are fed Diamond Naturals Salmon and Potato with a raw topper, and the females are given Inukshuk after whelping. The dogs are fed 1-2 times a day, 6 days a week, and their activity levels are adjusted based on the Arizona heat. During the summer, the dogs are kept leaner, and in the winter, they go on daily bike rides or run alongside a jeep through the open fields and desert.

The process of purchasing a puppy from Forgiati is straightforward. After filling out a puppy application, the buyer is added to the waitlist, and deposits are taken on the first few picks of the litter once pregnancy is confirmed. A contract with a puppy’s health guarantee is signed, and deposits are taken on the remaining picks once puppies arrive. Puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before going to their new homes.

Forgiati offers a lifelong health guarantee against all current testable diseases through Embark, low-cost boarding, and lifelong support for buyers. All puppies come with optional ear crops, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, 30 days of Trupanion Insurance, microchipped, and a puppy gift bag.

While Angie is relatively new to the bully community, she has big dreams for Forgiati in the future. Her main goal for 2023 is to continue building her program's foundation and adding more Standard Bullies to it. She hopes that in 10 years, the bully community will be more professional and welcoming, and breeders will work together to improve the breed's reputation.

What sets Forgiati apart from other breeders is their passion for the breed and their prioritization of the dogs' health and longevity. They have taken loss after loss for the past three years, but they continue to do what they do for the love of the breed. In her free time, Angie loves writing and typing, while her partner enjoys fixing diesel trucks.

Overall, Angie and Forgiati American Bullies are committed to producing healthy, well-socialized puppies and contributing to the betterment of the bully breed.
