State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located.
How's it going? My name is Travis Herron. I'm the owner of Northwest TNT XXL Bullies, which is located in Washington state.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
We breed XL American bullies, and chose this breed for their compassion and loyalty.
What is your favorite bloodline?
My favorite bloodline is definitely Ellis bloodline, due to their absolute size and structure.
In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?
To me, being a responsible breeder means you give your dogs all the same amount of attention and love, no matter how many you have. Also, having plenty of space and the right type of housing for your boys and girls. Lastly, health testing is a must!

We feed our boys and girls nothing but Victor High Pro Plus kibble, with Dyne and special treats of raw throughout the week.
How many times a day do you feed your dogs?
We let our dogs free feed throughout the day, making sure they never go empty.
How do you keep your dogs in shape throughout the year?
We live on 5 acres with a year round creek, so we have plenty of room for them to exercise and run, from sun up until sun down.

My advice for upcoming breeders is to do your research before purchasing your pups, and building your program. Remember a house is only as strong as its foundation.
What do you think is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?
The hardest thing for people to overcome in this industry is kennel blindness.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
That's a hard one to overcome, because you have to change your perspective, which is completely different with each person who suffers from this.
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I actually look up to 3 people in this industry. They are Jack and Cindy Ellis for obvious reasons. Also, Chad Rold at ERP Kennels, and Natasha at Mega Built Bullies.
Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.
I would love to see everyone health testing their dogs before just breeding them.
What separates Northwest TNT XXL Bullies from the competition?
I think what separates us from a lot of the competition is that we are new and already off to a great start. We care for our dogs. We don't just have them on a chain and locked up. We built a 24x36 facility insulated with a/c for our summers, and heat for our cool winters.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
I'm a huge bass fisherman. When I'm not with the dogs, cleaning or working them, you can find me on the water with a few of our dogs.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I think any magazine or any style of publicity for this breed is great, especially when showing how they truly are, and not the mean vicious animals they have been labeled to be. Thank you again for this opportunity to get our name and program out there.
